Obituary of Craig Douglas Nicholls

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Douglas Nicholls. He passed away in Windsor Ontario on August 25, 2025, surrounded by family. Craig was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario where he built his life and family. Craig will be deeply missed by his two daughters Leanne (Cameron) and Kimberley (Tyler), their mother Rhonda, his siblings Scott (Nancy), Lynne (Tim), and Tracy, and his cherished granddaughter Amelia. He is predeceased by his parents William Ronald Nicholls and June Mercer (Bryce).

Craig was a member of his local bowling league, a frequent face at all the best vintage car shows in town, and a passionate umpire who wasn’t afraid to tell noisy fans when they were wrong (which they usually were). He always enjoyed his yearly summer getaways at McFadden Cottages in Wasaga Beach, where he made family memories for more than 30 years (thank you Shawn!). Craig will be dearly missed by the many friends he has made along the way.

Details regarding Craig’s celebration of life will be shared by his daughters Leanne and Kimberley at a later date.
