I haven’t seen Galen since I moved away in 1979, but spent many a cold, snowy, dead Belle River winter night at his apartment over the old “pin up” partying and just chilling out. Galen kept me out of a lot of trouble in my teens just by being there. He was my senior by 11 years and sort of mentored me. He will be remembered by me always.
