Obituary of Doreen Anderson

Born December 4th, 1956 in Cornwall, ON. Loving and devoted wife of David. Beloved mother of Christine (Eddie) Kirby, Katie (Matt) Kaffer, Marcie (Andy) Anderson, Mela (Dan) Wright and Heather (Andrew) Stewart. Adoring Grammie of Shailagh, Abigail, Jack, Payton, Owen, Brody and Lexi. Doreen passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2021 surrounded by her most precious family, after a tremendously short battle against cancer. Mom was a person who was always willing to help out and put others first. She was a rock for those around her and was one of the strongest people we know. We have so many fond memories of summer vacations around a campfire, and playing every type of board and card game until the wee hours of the morning. Our favourite thing about Mom was if you were one of our friends, you automatically became one of her own. She would relish every excited story, every marriage that expanded our family, and every new grandbaby born. Mom lived for our family and we know that it was her most proud achievement. Cremation and interment to proceed with a final resting place at Victoria Memorial Gardens 1185 ON-Hwy 3 Old Castle, ON.
