There are so many memories of Mom.
Wanting to talk to locals, relatives when we were in Europe and she would string a thought in several languages to help them understand.
I remember her being a chaperone when our class visited the Detroit zoo
I was so proud that she came along.
After my dental appointments she would take me to sneaky Pete's at Devonshire mall for a donut and milk.
One day while walking downtown she said to me
Don't hate people, just be aware of what they do, if it is wrong...
She would help me with an assignment about bees, she gave me a scrap book with all my baby and childhood memories, which I will cherish always.
Love and miss you mom

My deepest sympathy to John and family. I had the pleasure of meeting John and Connie as they transitioned to St Clair Beach. At that point we became instant friends. We would laugh about the Purple Martins and how I thought they were killer birds and John and Connie's love for them. Connie had so much talent and one of the kindest people I have ever met. It truly was my pleasure to know them both. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. My heartfelt condolences.

Hi Mandy, dad told that purple martin story just the other day. Your warm welcome at Chartwell made them feel at home. Thanks for that and more! Ruth Rotulo

Two of my favourite memories of mom are caroling at Christmas then coming home for hot chocolate and cookies, and mom teaching us cute songs while traveling in our VW camper in Europe.

Dear John and family
Paul and I are saddened to hear of Connie's death. It was always a pleasure to visit with you while you visited with Jake and Eve. I admired Connie's musical talented and was not surprised to read of her many other accomplishments. I'm sure she will be missed, however, she was a great ambassador in doing God's work while on this earth. Our love and prayer go out to all of you. the angel chorus will greet her with fanfare at the gate.
